Hi, I’m Ethan, owner of Cedar Valley Profit Group.

I’ve spent much of my career working behind the scenes to help businesses keep their finances organized, understand their numbers, and operate more efficiently. What started as a career in accounting has grown into something I truly enjoy—helping business owners take control of their books so they can spend more time running their businesses.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Upper Iowa University, graduating cum laude, and have built my career through hands-on experience in accounting, operations, management, and financial reporting. For more than a decade, I have worked in restaurant accounting. My experience includes accounts payable and receivable, payroll, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial statements, budgeting, cash flow, and financial controls.
But for me, bookkeeping isn't just about numbers.

I know that behind every set of financial statements is a business owner who works hard to build something.
